Educational Establishments
I have worked for 23 years in education with children aged 3 - 11 years and have particular knowledge and expertise in the Foundation Stage (Foundation Phase-Wales), drama and its importance in the development of literacy and language skills.
As parents, teachers or practitioners you will understand why these puppets can do so much more than become a friend. The most important role of the puppets is in developing self-esteem for those who use or communicate with them. Self-esteem is the very first and most important step towards learning. A confident child will ask questions, will want to know more and will express their own thoughts, ideas and feelings.
Often children will talk solely to the puppet or allow the puppet to talk for them. This enables them to express themselves safely and for you to listen.
I can visit schools/Nurseries (if not too far away) to show staff the puppets before making an order.
I can attend School/Nursery fairs and donate a puppet to either ‘Guess the name of the Puppet’ stall for the school, which I would happily run alongside the puppet stall or to the raffle. If you prefer I would donate a percentage of the takings but the ‘Guess the Name’ stall will often raise more for the school.

Puppets are not just for the young. Our puppets have been sold to a Drama College for their end of year production and to professional on-board entertainers.
I can attend educational conferences, staff meetings, INSET days etc if the travelling is cost effective. Please ask and I will do my best to help.
